This ongoing series is based on analogue photographs from my childhood. Using acrylic paint, oil pastel, and charcoal, I paint directly onto the images, adding, obscuring, and transforming parts of the original photographs.

I am interested in the space between memory and imagination. The photographs serve as a starting point where familiar scenes become fragmented and new figures, symbols, and narratives can emerge.

These works are not an attempt to preserve the past. Instead, they reflect the way I remember them.
